Company B was established in 1990 for those dancers who want more out of dance than just taking classes. It gives them the opportunity to perform and compete throughout the year in addition to the studio's annual recital.
Company B dancers represent the core and foundation of Starz Choice Dance Academy. It requires dancers to be very dedicated. Our main objective is to provide a positive learning experience that the children will enjoy, however, guidelines must be set and met to keep our company in order. Company B is a group and must function as a group in order to be successful.
Any student who wishes to be a member of Company B must audition annually. Auditions are held in Tap, Jazz and Lyrical. Placement for auditions is determined by the Directors.
Those accepted into Company receive all the benefits of performing throughout the year. Performances include Company shows, community events, parades, parties, etc. Recently, Company B performed on Carnival Cruise Line's M.S. Fantasy. In addition to the experience gained from performing on the ship, Company B dancers enjoyed a fabulous cruise to the Bahamas!
